Nikon Battery Finder (Analog Nikon Cameras)
Type the Nikon model number (for example F3, FE2, F-401x, Nikkormat EL2) to see which battery it uses, plus a modern replacement if the original mercury cell is no longer available.
Tip: results appear as soon as you type a number (3, 2, 401, 90…). This avoids showing the entire list when you type “Nikon”.
Some early Nikon meters used 1.35 V mercury cells. Safe modern options: Wein MRB625 or MR-9 adapter + SR44 (1.5 V).
